A 62-year-old man visited his doctor about a rash that developed on his neck over the past few months. The patient noted that it was very pruritic and as a result he had been rubbing and scratching the affected areas frequently. The patient reported he had been under a lot of stress due to recent life changes. On examination, erythematous, scaly and lichenified plaques were seen on the lateral neck. He appeared well and was not on any medications.
