A 65-year-old man with a history of hypertension went to his doctor because he noticed that recently he was having some pain and numbness in his left arm, especially after doing his daily push-ups. He also had a few dizzy spells or vertigo, but they seemed to happen mainly if he turned his head too quickly. A few times he even experienced double vision. During the exam, the doctor noticed decreased pulses in the man’s left arm as compared to his right arm.
