A 57-year-old man went to the eye doctor with blurred vision that would come and go throughout the day and double vision in both eyes. He complained of recent headaches and photophobia. During the exam, the ophthalmologist noticed flame-shaped retinal hemorrhage and cotton wool spots. He couldn’t detect venous pulsations, although he had been able to during the patient’s last exam 6 months earlier.
