This presentation will discuss the latest therapies in migraine management. There are new acute and preventive medications that have been approved by the FDA and allow for broader treatment options for migraine patients. Dr. Raissa Villanueva will discuss these treatment options and how they can be used in your practice.

Dr. Raissa Villanueva is the associate chair of ambulatory operations in the Department of Neurology at URMC. As division chief of the Headache Center at URMC, she has extensive experience in the care of a broad range of headache patients- including migraine, post-traumatic headaches, facial pain and trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias. She is board certified in Headache Medicine and Neurology.
