In this lecture, board-certified dermatologist Azeen Sadeghian will review cutaneous manifestations of select system diseases, including COVID-19, diabetes, lupus, sarcoidosis, and more. Participants will learn how to recognize key skin findings associated with internal diseases. High-yield educational content and curated images will be reviewed. This lecture is geared toward non-dermatologist clinicians, including NPs and PAs.

Azeen Sadeghian, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Dr. Sadeghian earned her medical degree at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and then completed a clinical research fellowship and dermatology residency at Tulane Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, LA.
Dr. Sadeghian’s expertise is in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails. She is passionate about atopic dermatitis and digital educational resources and is involved with a point-of-care medical tool called VisualDx. She also has a special interest in skin care products and cosmetic treatments that focus on rejuvenation and winkle reduction. Professionally, she is active in the Louisiana State Medical Society, sits on the Advisory Board for the American Academy of Dermatology, and serves as the Editorial Committee Chair for the Women’s Dermatologic Society. She is also currently a voluntary Adjunct Assistant Professor at Tulane Health Sciences Center.
