Art Papier
Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Papier is the co-founder and CEO of VisualDx. A thought leader in clinical informatics, Dr. Papier maintains the overall vision for the company with a keen focus on product integration and impacting costs in healthcare through clinical accuracy. His entrepreneurial drive, years of clinical experience, and passion for delivering true healthcare solutions have propelled the company to the forefront of clinical decision support in quality and innovation.
A dermatologist and medical informatics expert, Dr. Papier has a particular interest in designing clinical decision support systems based on visually rich knowledge areas to reduce diagnostic error at the point of care. In line with this goal, he is focused on transforming medical education to include training in cognitive error and the use of information technology. Dr. Papier also focuses on consumer health by developing tools to educate and empower patients.
A graduate of Wesleyan University, Dr. Papier completed his pre-med studies at Columbia University, earned his MD from the University of Vermont College of Medicine, and completed his graduate medical training at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He is an associate professor of Dermatology and Medical Informatics at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
Bernie Mangano

Bernie leads VisualDx’s Sales and Business Development organization and is responsible for growth in both the US and international markets. Bernie brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare technology and a passion for helping clients and partners drive clinical and financial results all while improving quality of care. Prior to joining VisualDx, Bernie served as VP of Enterprise Sales at Collective Medical, helping meet the challenges faced by healthcare providers by enabling them to achieve the business results that matter, enriching the lives of their patients, improving financial and operational health, and mitigating risk. The cornerstones of his professional philosophy are trust, integrity and partnership. Bernie received his BS in Marketing from the School of Business at Northeastern University in Boston.
Pedro Morales
Vice President, Engineering
Pedro is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of diverse experience spanning Healthcare, HR services, Nuclear, and IT Consulting. His career trajectory includes notable positions such as Director of QA and later Director of Software Engineering at NextGen Healthcare, where he had overall Engineering ownership for their Population Health analytics tool as well as various Government Reporting applications. Throughout his leadership journey, Pedro has learned that happy people make great environments, and that leads to awesome products and happy clients.
Pedro’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA in Management from SUNY Empire State College.
Monica Taddeo

As Vice President of Finance at VisualDx, Ms. Taddeo is responsible for supervising the company’s financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and human resources. She is ultimately responsible for reporting fiscal performance to the CEO, Board of Executives, and company investors. Prior to joining the VisualDx team, Ms. Taddeo held leadership roles at Veramark Technologies, Callfinity, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. She received her BBA from St. John Fisher College and is a certified public accountant.

Wendemagegn Enbiale

Wendemagegn Enbiale is a physician by training and professor of dermatovenerology in Bahir dar University. He has a Master’s in Public Health and a Ph.D. in Global Health and dermatology. Prof. Wendemagegn has been involved in outbreak management, community-based research, operational research, and clinical trials and he has authored and co-authored about 38 papers published in peer-reviewed journals (focused on NTDs) and book chapters.
Prof. Wendemagegn is an alumnus of the TDR lead Structured Operational Research and Training IniTiative (SORT IT) and facilitated operational research training on antimicrobial resistance and NTDs for South East Asia and Africa since 2019. He is an advisory council for the International Alliance for the Control of Scabies (IACS), Climate Change Committee for the International Society of Dermatology, International Alliance for Global Health Dermatology (GLODERM) and Amref Ethiopia.
Since November 2020, Prof. Wendemagegn has been involved in WHO Target Product Profiles (TPPs) development. He is also serving as a WHO Strategic and Technical Advisory Group for Neglected Tropical Diseases (STAG-NTDs) and vice-chair of the national NTD Research Advisory Committee for the Ethiopian Ministry of Health (MOH). Currently he is also the site principal investigator for the EDCTP-funded clinical trial on STH (ALIVE) and ITM Antwerp-funded clinical trials on COVID-19 (ANTICOV).

Chesahna Kindred, MD, MBA, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist born in Oakland and raised in South Central Los Angeles. She is the president of Kindred Hair & Skin Center in Columbia, Maryland, and medical director of VisualDx, where she serves as a liaison to the physician community and an advocate for the delivery of equitable, unbiased care for people of color.
Additionally, Dr. Kindred is chair of the dermatology section at the National Medical Association, associate professor at Howard University, founder and president of Onyx Medical Society, leader of the health committee of the African American Roundtable of Howard County, and deacon at Celebration Church. As a speaker and published author, Dr. Kindred’s work and research culminate to improve race equity. She is lives in Howard County with her husband, Jamahl, and two children, Machela and Kingston.

Dr. Prasad is a quadruple-board-certified physician boarded in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Infectious Disease and Critical Care with sub-specialty fellowship training in Transplant and Immunocompromised Infectious Disease as well as a diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
Dr. Prasad serves as Director of Surgical Critical Care, Director of Transplant and Immunocompromised Infectious Disease, and Director of the Highly Infectious Disease Units at the University of Rochester Medical Center. As the Director of Global Health for VisualDx, Dr. Prasad has a passion for digital solutions to the public health crises that plague our country and the world.
