Synopsis

Abnormally increased white blood cell count after intake of certain medications. Among the most common medications causing leukocytosis are corticosteroids, lithium, and β-agonists. Also implicated are recombinant cytokines, antihypertensives, antifungals, antibiotics, anticonvulsants, antidiabetics, antidepressants, and others.
